Daria

Daria Hushtyn is a Belarusian journalist based in Minsk. She works for the online newspaper Belarusian News (naviny.by) and the informational agency BelaPAN (belapan.by). Her professional interests include social and economic issues, human rights, and international politics. Daria Hushtyn holds degrees in journalism and law from the Belarusian State University. She is the winner of several contests, including "Freedom of speech" (Belarusian association of journalists 2014), "Choose Life" (Belarusian association of journalists and Penal Reform Int. 2014), and an investigative journalism contest on death penalty (Penal Reform Int. and The Guardian 2014).
